It’s here! The follow up to arguably the greatest effort in Bronson‘s catalogue has arrived. Something about Party Supplies‘ colorful and left-field selections brings out the best in Bam Bam. Supplies is all over the place here, yet somehow never missing–even the corny funk, then corny soft rock, then corny 80s dance-hop of “Contemporary Man” works, lord knows how. Bronson is a up for anything, as always, and as the absurdity of the tunes ramps up, his gusto to roll with it, and, in his typical fashion, makes anything that would otherwise seem to a grave mistake feel like the world’s classiest move. The beats are gorgeous, though, don’t get it twisted. You can become a fan just from track titles alone: how could “Jackson & Travolta” not be a winner? Enjoy Blue Chips 2 below.
