In the past, the English countryside was a frequent muse for poets, musicians, painters, playwrights and the like. As cities rose to cultural, social and economic prominence, the majesty of those quaint and mysterious forests and knolls became rather peripheral. Returning to that mythical countryside, James Blake and Chance the Rapper remind us of its beautiful mystery.
