Azealia Banks gets colorful and playful in her new video for the Pharrell-assisted track “ATM Jam”. The Rony Alwin-directed video is a colorful affair that features Azealia and her crew incessantly oscillating between various arid color palettes, all while looking devilishly alluring. Azealia seems to largely be over her Seapunk phase, but bathing suits and aquatic imagery still make some cameos, along with a few lines in the actual song about mermaids. Pharrell doesn’t make a cameo in the video, but you will get over it.
The track is featured on Azealia‘s upcoming debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, which is [allegedly] scheduled for February 2014. Watch the video below.
Side note: it’s interesting how sparse this song is. The folks at G.O.O.D. Music aren’t the only ones who are into minimalism.
