South London rapper YJ has delivered his appropriately titled follow-up to “#Spazz”. Deal Or No Deal boasts 10 hard-hitting cuts, complete with a combination of consciousness and poetic word play. “ I think the title of the project is self explanatory, regardless of whatever situation I find myself in whether it’s a deal or no deal situation, I’m gonna continue to create the best music to the best of my ability,” he says about the project.
The overall perspective and energy of Deal Or No Deal challenges the misunderstanding of rap, while YJ’s subtle, catchy and clear-cut flow kicks over each track with an aura of tranquillity. Listen below.
