The audacious Bizzy Crook named his mixtape 84 because 1984 was the year Michael Jordan was drafted into the NBA. The rest of the comparison makes itself…now it’s just up to the 16 track mixtape, and the rest of this young buck’s career to back it up. 84 features some big names: Estelle, Nelly, and, weirdly, Melody Thornton of The Pussycat Dolls. (A lower-profile, but still-notable feature: Los.) The tape doubles as an introduction to a vulnerable, autobiographical lyricist and a bottle-popping jumper cable.
