This song isn’t about tobacco. Referencing the classic Freak Nasty song as well as “Niggas in Paris,” Danny Brown takes us on another excursion into the murky realm of drug-drenched debauchery. It’s another molly anthem, for sure, but that’s no surprise if you’ve even marginally kept up with Danny Brown.
What makes the track stand out is its unrelenting darkness, courtesy of Skywlkr‘s Nine Inch Nail-esque prog synths and Danny‘s humorless delivery. If you compare this to “Thizzles,” his collaboration with Tech N9ne, the darkness is striking. Watch below. Old arrives on September 30. Grab a water bottle (and a hip?).
