Kiwi, New Zealand duo The Wyld have just put out an impressive video for their latest single, “Odyssey,” set to appear on their upcoming Abstract EP. From the first moment–a piercing militaristic drumline–we know that “Odyssey” is going to be both a primal and precise experience. Though the choice for a lyric video may not have been the best one, as the words simply don’t match the sounds in terms of originality or grip, the other visual choice, a slow-motion, black-and-white cheetah, was a great one. The song as a whole gives off a distinct Kid Cudi vibe, sounding like a raw composite of at least three tracks from Cudi‘s debut album. The Wyld has us intrigued. Get acquainted below.
