Inglewood rapper Skeme raps like he’s constantly irritated, but that doesn’t mean he’s irritable. Said differently, Skeme‘s irritation isn’t a personality trait; it’s just a response to a world of nonstop nonsense from haters, doubters and inferiors. On “All That” Skeme confronts these multiple sources of irritation with this warning: his goons are down for anything. The sparse instrumental is equally as menacing, growling and threateningly lurking in the background of Skeme‘s mentholated rhymes. Listen below.
Skeme‘s new mixtape, Bare With Me, will be out this Thursday, September 26, and will feature a host of L.A. rappers.
