California duo Audio Push teamed up with Hustle Gang general T.I. for an addictive track called “Theme Song”. The Hit-Boy-produced track features a booming bassline and a desolate piano sample with a periodic and anxious horn. Audio Push and T.I. both come correct on their respective verses; T.I. in particular doesn’t disappoint, riding the beat very effortlessly. The only issue is that toward the end, the song loses its gritty edge and attempts to become a dance track. It’s a very strange turn.
The cut is featured on Audio Push‘s upcoming project Come As You Are, which is set to drop later today. Listen below and pretend that the latter part of the song doesn’t tell you to twerk.
