#TheTwitterMixtape is a compilation comprised of unsigned, yet talented, regular people from all over the country. At 18 tracks deep, this project includes hip-hop, R&B and even a bit of spoken word poetry. All of the artists involved with the project are listed by their respective Twitter username, so it’s easy to find them. Social media is rife with artists and their music; some are trying to make a name for themselves and others just want to be heard.
On Twitter, the terms “struggle rapper” and “struggle bars” are oftentimes used to the point of ad nauseum. It’s refreshing to come across some tunes that don’t fit the description. Grab the download over at Bandcamp or check it out below.
