Inglewood-bred MC/producer Cobe Obeah has taken three years to follow up his Song of the Starz project, but it’s been well worth the wait. Dark Night is 14 tracks of brooding introspection, complete with soulful samples and spacey, atmospheric production. Obeah commands attention on every track with a perfected flow and confidence on the mic. If you listen to one mixtape this week and the next and the next, it should probably be this one. Enjoy.
