To be perfectly honest, RESPECT. arrived late to the Shad party, but we’re very glad to have been invited. The Canadian rapper’s latest musical think-piece comes in the form of “Stylin,” a casually thoughtful track that stimulates both mentally and physically. Produced by Skratch Bastid, “Stylin” pairs a raspy bass riff with Shad‘s humor and pensiveness and the result is golden. The video is rather bare, but it works. The way Shad embodies his lighthearted yet serious lyrics doesn’t require anything more elaborate. Watch the video below. Shad truly is Canada’s best kept secret.
