Fresh off her performance at the 2013 BET Awards, Janelle Monae is giving us another taste of her upcoming LP, Electric Lady. “Dance Apocalyptic” places Monae on a sound stage, rocking a white fur coat, singing for screaming fans a la Andre 3000 in “Hey Ya”. Her jam session is paused when there is breaking news that zombies are on the loose in the city. Monae‘s energy is infectious, and the video is enough to make you smash a few guitars of your own.
