Hopsin’s yearly “Ill Mind” series continues with the sixth installment on his 28th birthday. If you’ll recall, the last two ruffled a few feathers and this one might do the same. It features Hopsin both mourning and criticizing the decisions of an old friend who is plagued by a dangerous meth addiction. The verses feel judgmental, but they are balanced by the despair in the chorus, which Hopsin, actually sings himself. Watch the video below. The rapper’s long-delayed Knock Madness album is finally due out November 26.
