This Brooklyn collaboration and lyrical onslaught was released yesterday as promo for SMTH‘s THE SMTH PROJECT. This track is particularly notable for featuring Capital STEEZ‘s final recorded verse, and it shows both growth and passion that we unfortunately will never see expanded upon. Instead, for those still celebrating STEEZ, his postumous tape, KING CAPITAL arrives this summer–here’s its first single. Our interest in Capital STEEZ began when we first saw him perform with PRO ERA in Brooklyn, stealing the spotlight on Bada$$’s “Survival Tactics”, laying down the political blueprint for his Beast Coast comrades. Yesterday, the PRO ERA emcee would have been 20 years old.
