80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Pt.II by Pete Rock and Camp Lo will be released on July 30th. The collaborative mixtape includes guest appearances from Ab-Soul, Talib Kweli, M.O.P, Uncle Murda and Mac Miller. “Megan Good,” which is featured on the mixtape, pairs a simple bass groove with drums and scattered vocal cues from Rock, who experiments with some sounds for the last two minutes of the track.
Interestingly, the recording itself doesn’t sound professionally done; in contrast with the rest of the track, it sounds raw and unpolished, giving it a rough edge despite its soft subject matter. Give it a listen.
