Not all trap music has to be aggressive and dark. High Klassified and Da-P are two producers from Montreal, Canada that have hit Soundcloud this week with a super mellow trap cut, called Fuzlija; the track uses the typical Roland 808 drums that saturate trap music alongside a synth heavy, electronic background. The result is a chill, “liquid trap” sound you can listen to without wanting to sell drugs or start a riot. The beat’s samples and rhythm pull out its obvious hip hop roots, while the tempo and ambient melodies prove that trap can be a much more multidimensional genre than one would think. Listen below.
