J. Cole let the world know that he felt he”Let Nas Down” on his latest album Born Sinner, and Nas surprised him by hopping on the track for the remix. On the original track, Cole reflected on how he caught word that his idol was disappointed in Cole’s decision to water down his lyrics and create radio-friendly tracks like “Work Out”. Nas responds by reflecting on his own personal struggles in the rap game, and lets Cole know that he is proud of him, and that he never let him down. Hear Nas pass the crown to Cole below.
