Mats, a pivotal figure in the Brazilian street art scene, has been working in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Surrounded by graffiti and pixadores (a kind of graffiti born in Sao Paolo in the ’60s) he slowly began to leave his figures around the neighborhood. Note how bold and colorful his characters are; they have a lot of aesthetic similarities to graffiti lettering.
