Macklemore and Ryan Lewis recently released their latest video for the hit song “Can’t Hold Us.” Macklemore himself has proclaimed that the video was shot on six different continents. Following the success of “Thrift Shop,” the artist decided to take advantage of his newly established position in the industry and do some jet setting. “It’s crazy. There’s a camel. There’s dog sledding…We just went for it,” he told MTV News backstage during the MTV Movie Awards. “This was over a 16-day music video shoot, which I’ve never heard of before,” Lewis added. “It was a huge project; it was cut all over the place. We started cutting at South By Southwest, in a little hotel room, and we’ve been finishing it ever since, or trying to finish it. It’s just been a massive project.” The dynamic duo ended up delivering a very energetic, over the top video complete with memorizing landscapes and eye-catching action. Check it out!
