Kid Cudi @ MySpace Secret Show During SXSW
Kid Cudi just released his new track “Girls” featuring West Coast pioneer, Too $hort. As per usual, Cudi’s lyrics are pretty straight forward: “Love them, I want them, they need me,” he sings on the title topic. It’s his voice that is intriguing here, as he sounds strangely strained and haunted. It’s composed of a similar palette, so if you liked his previous singles such as “Just What I am” and “Immortal,” you will like this.
