Los Angeles rhymer Sahtyre has been making some noise on the e-streets over the last little while and now he has dropped some LSD for the masses. The 11-track project is complete with experimental, energetic beats backed by plenty of drug references.
On the surface the music is about getting high and partying, but if you dig deeper you’ll find plenty of hints at depression and loneliness. “Suicide,” the somber closer, paints the picture of a man finding comfort in his vices: “And can’t nobody tell me shit til I’m layin’ on the concrete lifeless.” Stream/download below.
