The careers of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy and The Alchemist are about to come full circle with the release of their joint LP, Albert Einstein. For those who don’t know, a teenage Alan the Chemist started out mobbing around with the Queensbridge duo, and now that sometimes-tumultuous team of Havoc and Prodigy has failed to produce a new disc for some time, Prodigy is flying solo over Al’s production. Above is the distorted face of the great mind in the album title. Prodigy is certainly evoking a bold comparison, the merit of which we can judge June 11th. Here’s the tracklist for Albert Einstein.
