Rhymesayers’ bald-headed hero brings us the visuals for his modern-day working-man’s anthem “Work Everyday.” Directed by Andrew Melby and One Light Collective, the video finds Brother Ali praying, volunteering, performing, protesting, and chatting with normal, everyday people. The humble rhymer begins takes the perspective of the average broke guy barely scraping by at his job, wondering why and how he’s fallen into cycles of consumerism and poverty. The track is positive and political, a rare mix highlighted by Jake One‘s near-live sounding production. Watch Ali at work below.
