It’s been a minute since Odd Future’s favorite introvert dropped something new. Finally, Earl Sweatshirt has given fans something to sink their teeth into while we wait for his upcoming album Doris.
Yesterday during Flying Lotus‘s show at L.A’s Low End Theory Club, Earl awkwardly debuted three new songs: “Burgandy”, “Hive”, and “Guild”. It’s no secret that since this will be Earl’s first studio album, Doris is hands down one of the most anticipated projects of the year. “Burgandy” features production by Pharrell, and “Hive” features fellow West Coasters Vince Staples and Casey Veggies. Last but not least, “Guild” features Mac Miller. You can check the the video from the show after the jump, but honestly, the fans are way too hype for you to really get a feel for the songs. Nevertheless, one thing is strikingly clear: Earl has something big in his pockets and we can’t way to see. Pause.
