It’s tough for us hip-hop listeners to be surprised by news of any delayed album, but here’s another one. J. Cole has announced that his sophomore album’s release will be coming “a little later than” the anticipated January 28. He made the announcement while in Vegas for the New Year’s Eve celebration. Judging by his response, it seemed like the question caught him a little off-guard, but he willingly admits that he “needed more time.” In due time, we’ll find out what date will mark Cole’s album’s release, as he’ll hopefully establish more of a buzz leading up to Born Sinner. #NoBlanket
