“Chum” is the refreshingly, honest new single from Odd Future‘s Earl Sweatshirt. He has always been the introverted member of the group and you can see that in the video for the track. The simple aesthetic for the video goes perfect with the deep lyrics that touch on everything from growing up without a father to the big brother relationship he and Tyler share. The video may seem odd with the random frog shots and burning shopping carts but as bizarre as it is, it makes sense. The black and white visuals let the lyrics take center stage and gives you a small snapshot of what goes on in Earl‘s head (something nobody ever really knows). The track is off of his upcoming album Doris. Check it out below.
