I Am Other, Pharrell Williams‘ new cultural channel for the arts, has launched a YouTube documentary entitled “Voice of Art” highlighting prolific social activism by American street artists. “Art is a weapon, so don’t just be a witness,” boasts the series first trailer, which promises to follow different artists in their mission to shine a light on their chosen social issue. So far, the “Voice of Art” YouTube page is home to thirteen installments, the latest of which focuses on graffiti artist GATS (Graffiti Against the System) and his upcoming project, which aims to scrutinize police brutality in West Oakland, California.
