When Wax signed with Def Jam in Spring 2011, he appeared to be on the trajectory to success. However, as he began working on his album, his work ethic slackened and his music started looking a little foreign. Earlier today Wax took to Youtube to announce his departure from Def Jam and explain his decision. He didn’t burn his bridge with the label, but crossed it willingly and with no regrets. He expects his album to be ready for release around Halloween. Hear the story from the man himself below.
