Queens emcee Homeboy Sandman is offering his fans a deeper look into his life. In a 3-part series entitled FOUNDation, viewers get to meet Sandman’s father (a 1982 Golden Gloves champion boxer), hear Sandman drop jewels on the music industry and hear him discuss teaching high school in his home borough. Sandman’s marijuana use is also discussed in the doc as well as his stint in law school. Cinematographer Rel is behind the lens.
Sandman’s First of a Living Breed comes out on Stones Throw Records on September 18th.
