Las Tres Calaveras (the Three Skulls) has been painting graffiti since 1997. Organic shapes and reptiles are key themes in his work. His surreal style has a comic strip quality to it, as various body parts of his characters mutate into weirdness. Inspired by nature and science, his work is a reflection of his pure fantasy world.
Oddly, the very talented artist does not see himself as a painter, per se. “I see myself as a graffiti writer, as someone doing different things, experimenting a little,” he says.
