You may or may not have heard of Phony Ppl, but you should definitely get aqquainted with this young collective crew out of New York City. They’ve described their music as, “A mix of all good black music,” including, of course, hip-hop, jazz, soul, funk… They just released their new EP Nothing Special, and are seconds away from blowing up. After seeing them open for him, Theophilus London snagged the crew to be his tour band. Of course, one of our favorite track’s off the album features TL. Listen below and thank us later.
