Female rappers are scarce and a rare find in the rap game, but we’ve got a new honey to look out for– Honey Cocaine. Only 19, Last Kings first artist dropped her second mix tape 90s Gold. Following the 90s theme, the R&B beats from the decade match Honey’s 90s style flow. The Toronto native stands on her own in the mixtape with no features on any of the nine tracks, not even Last Kings boss Tyga. 90s Gold, hosted by DJ Ill Will, is Honey Cocaine’s first release following the shooting accident where she suffered a gun shot to the arm. The last track on the tape, “Who Shot Me,” explains what happened that night. Check it out.
