Since hip-hop was spawned at those legendary dance parties in the Bronx, hip-hop producers have always had a penchant for sculpting songs from random, remote sources. Keeping in line with this sometimes strange tradition, Kanye West recently revealed his latest preferred source: animal noises. According to the Sun:
“Kanye’s telling mates this is his next ingenious plan.
“He’s become so obsessed with roars, barks and jungle noises that he’s experimenting with putting them on a recording.”
After dabbling with these noises on “Monster” and “No Church in the Wild,” he’s gonna turn them into an entire album? Hope that he doesn’t title it “Jungle Boogie.” Welcome to the jungle, for real.
