Dice Raw certainly knows about rear windows. Though he’s been collaborating with The Roots for over a decade, he’s still one of the most slept on rappers of all time. The track doesn’t directly address Dice’s lack of acknowledgement by the rap world, but the pensive mood of the song hints at it. That being said, Dice doesn’t seem too distressed. After all, even though he’s looking out of the rear window, he’s still in the car. A lot of people don’t even make it to the dealership.
“Rear Window” is the third single from his upcoming album, The Greatest Rapper Never: The Transformation. It’ll definitely be an album you can’t afford to miss.
