Lupe rocks the trendy rapper get-up: a sweatshirt with the word “Swagger” and camo. He gets fitted with diamonds; drives around in a rented Lamborghini; and surrounds himself with cartoons-caricatures of the people found in rap music. His lyrics speak to the absurdity of the rap “image” and the broader issues of wealth in American culture.
