The online outlet of RESPECT. Magazine is looking for summer interns to start in mid-June. If you have a deep passion and knowledge of hip-hop and music this job is for you. Tasks include:
-Daily blog posts
-Assisting with copy-editing and fact-checking
-Transcribing interviews and data entry
-Archiving and organizing photos for our new app
You’ll also have the chance to contribute to the print magazine. WordPress/online skills are a must. Intern must be organized, hard-working and detail oriented. If you have a specific interest in writing about lifestyle, art, graffiti, or photography, please make that known on your application.
The internship is unpaid (you will receive a daily stipend); the ability to gain college credit for the internship is strongly preferred. Additionally, applicants must be based in NYC for the summer months.
