Birdman is looking to expand his YMCMB empire even further. The mogul told XXL that he will be launching Cash Money Films this year. There is an untitled project starring Omar Epps in the works, but the more interesting flick will come with the entire Young Money crew. The film, entitled Rich Gang, will center around Lil Wayne and feature all YMCM artists. Birdman described the project as the 2012 Baller Blockin’.
No word yet on if the style of the movie will be scripted or not, however Stunna says he would rather the artists “just be themselves.” Shooting begins in the Fall.
