Joining her fellow YMCMBers Drake and Lil’ Wayne, Nick Minaj has recently opened the lid on a seven figure endorsement deal with Pepsi. Hip-hop’s continued affiliation with beverages seems kind of ludicrous (because it is) when you consider the odd history of hip-hop and beverages, but free money is free money. I’m predicting either “Super Taste” or “Last name beverage, first name tasty” as the first slogan. We’ll see.
