T.I. started off the year strong by dropping his Fuck Da City Up mixtape on New Year’s Day. With features from Young Jeezy, B.o.B, Dr. Dre, and more, it may stand up as one of the hottest tapes of the year. If you still have that itch for some new Tip, then you will be pumped for the new track he dropped to start off February.
The new track, titled “I Need Dollas”, features a sample from Aloe Blacc’s “I Need a Dollar.” The soulful hook really blends well with Tip’s style. It is the first of the month, so most of probably can feel where this one is coming from.
If you haven’t heard the original track from Aloe Blacc, check it here. You might recognize it as the song in the opening credits of HBO’s (unfortunately) recently cancelled How to Make it in America, which included Kid Cudi as one of the main characters.
