The latest in Wayne’s shocking line of acquisitions is 90s nu-metal group Limp Bizkit. Wayne seems to be making a conscious effort to sign every act without a deal right now, and who knows who could be next (though twitter offers some suggestions that don’t seem all that farfetched). A mere three weeks ago, Fred Durst was in downtown Los Angeles doing a karaoke version of “Nookie,” and now he’s got a deal. This signing isn’t completely out of left field considering Wayne’s questionable bass guitar skills, and flimsy crossover effort, Rebirth, but damn if it isn’t surprising.
