The thing is, The Internet started out out with the three of us, but ended up being more of Matt and I, because Left Brain was working on BlackenedWhite. He has a lot of stuff going on right now, preoccupied with MellowHype. So Matt and I took the reigns on it. We’ve decided that for every album we’ll work with a different person, and this album will be Left Brain.
Why the name, The Internet?
Well, while we were making the album, a friend of ours was shooting a documentary on us, and she asked us what our name will be, and to be honest, we hadn’t come up with one yet. She was asking us where we were from, and Left Brain was like, “I’m not from anywhere. I’m from the internet.” So we ran with that. I just thought it was funny. I don’t know why. [laughs]
