Like Dr. Dre‘s Detox or Lil Wayne‘s sobriety, the Nike “Air Yeezy 2” has mostly existed for the past few years as the stuff of rumors and myths. A brief glimpse at Coachella has really been all Kanye West fans and sneakerheads have looked to as they wait for the follow-up to the original Yeezy, one of the most hyped sneakers in history. Thankfully on Sunday night at the VMAs, Kanye chose to make waves by flashing the unreleased kicks for the world to see. What you see above (next to Katy Perry as the duo collected the Best Collaboration VMA for “E.T.”) and below is the clearest picture yet of the Yeezy 2…but is it fire? If you think so, you’d probably best be served by just starting to camp now if you ever want to snag a pair.
