Styles P has had a busy summer, but everyone knows August really brings the heat. Currently, The LOX’s member is hard at work on a new mixtape set to be released sometime in the next two weeks. The World’s Hardest MC will be a prelude to Styles P’s fourth studio album, which is set to be released in September (release date TBD). Collaboration with fellow Yonkers natives Sheek Louch and Jadakiss will highlight the cameos on the mixtape. See what Styles P had to say about his upcoming projects in an interview with MTV below.

Amidst all this news about a new mixtape and an upcoming album, Styles P did put out a new joint last night. The track, titled “NYC” amounts to an ode to many other NYC-bred emcees. NYC has been home to some serious talent, or as Styles P puts it “the illest competition, the flyest colleagues.” Check out the track below.
