About a year ago there were some rumors about a collaboration between Madlib and Kanye West. Mixes like “Raw Medicine,” the debut track off of the prolific producer’s upcoming Madlib Medicine Show #12 album, should show you why I was just as excited for that as Kanye doing an album with Jay-Z. This mix works off of MF Doom‘s verse from De La Soul‘s “Rock Co Kane Flow” before re-working some old J Dilla. It’s definitely worth it to take some time out from your Watch the Throne binge to get excited for the Medicine Show, and the accompanying tour, coming September 27th.
