According to an exclusive by TMZ, Katherine Jackson, mother of the late Michael Jackson, with Global Live Events has personally reached out to the King of Pop’s favorite artists – Kanye West, Jay-Z and Justin Bieber – for “Michael Forever,” the tribute concert that will honor his legacy.
Sources in relation to the concert have revealed that others include Usher, Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars, and Cee Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley.
While Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars have respectfully declined the invite due to scheduling conflicts, Christina Aguilera and Kanye West have lean toward appearing on the bill. Cee Lo has also committed to the concert as well.
The event, which will feature each artist performing one or two of their favorite MJ songs, will be hosted in Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom on October 8.
