According to Lexus, Yukihiko Yaguchi is the answer to the IS F story. Yukihiko is a quiet engineer who adores fast cars. At this day of age, who doesn’t? But, what he had in mind was to have a huge horsepower, racetrack-inspired vehicle that would be legal to drive on the highway and with this (IS-F) he came correct. Lexus also takes the credit for having the world’s-first eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission for seamless, lightning-fast shifting, packing it with more than 416 horsepower – enough to blast the IS-F to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. I will say, while test driving this car for a week, it was the fastest I have driven so far and I have driven many. So, if you decide to purchase it within the states, be safe at all times. It definitely has the speed and power to make you forget that you are driving on the highway in America.
