You put a whole bunch of civilians into a rap video, and you’d expect more smiles, but many of the faces featured in this short film are solemn. To a constant refrain of “Guess it all gonna change since Osama died,” the clip alternates between Glasses Malone‘s animated rapping and random citizens’ faces. The somber expressions definitely fit the mood of the song.
From AllHipHop, here’s what Glasses himself had to say about the video:
“This song focuses on how we were made to feel life would change after
May 1st, the day Osama Bin Laden was killed. Yet everything is exactly
the same in the world, my environment, as well as my personal life!”
Glasses also added that he hopes this song helps earn him some respect as a serious rapper. Seems like a lot is riding on this DJ Pooh-produced video… Might as well give it a watch.
