disRESPECT. Katt Williams Freestyle

It’s been a tough 2011 for Katt Williams. He has spent way too much time acting crazy and starting trouble with other people in the entertainment industry. In April a run-in with the police kicked off this recent bout of bad behavior. May came and went, but in June he was back at it again. Katt was taken to jail after refusing to let an injured worker leave the premises where he was staying in Palmdale, California. After posting a bail of $50,000, Katt was released to his own devices. Nevertheless, it didn’t take long for him to make headlines again. At a show in Albuquerque, New Mexico Katt came on stage, but didn’t seem to remember his shtick. Less than two weeks after his arrest in California the performer was again turning heads, but for all the wrong reasons.

This leads us to Katt’s latest bout of craziness, a freestyle dissing Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx and Steve Harvey to name a few. Regardless of whether you feel Katt’s flow or not, this is not where he belongs. No need to mention that people who do push-ups in public already get an asterisk from me, but the world needs laughter not another dime a dozen emcee who can put together one or two mediocre bars. Katt may be tired of the comedy circuit, but rapping is not exactly a lateral move for a man who will turn forty in September.

Come on man, we just want the good old Katt that made us laugh. Hopefully, he’s gotten all his crazy out of his system by now.
