Produced by the Neptunes, by Pusha T, featuring Tyler, The Creator… This studio was full of stars. Check out the behind-the-scenes look at the video for “Trouble On My Mind.”
Pusha T says the video is about combining his street background with Tyler’s “independent sub-culture” in a way that “creates a record that is so fundamentally hip hop sounding.”
Best quote: “I watch him, and I watch him interact with his friends and his crew, and it reminds me a lot of how it was with us and Star Trak when we were coming up.”
I gotta say, from the few hints we get from this clip, the music video looks pretty strange. Crutches, walkers, senior citizens robbing stores… Not sure what’s going on, but I’m intrigued.
